As a photographer, one of Howe’s goals is to create images with emotional impact. Photographs of our loved ones are among those most powerful, often evoking the strongest feelings. There is little a new mother treasures more than a timeless portrait of her newborn child, particularly if it captures his or her personality. The same could be said of a devoted pet owner of the beloved family dog or cat.
One of the busiest aspects of Howe’s photography business is shooting portraits of infants, children and pets. His goal during these sessions is to work with you, the client, to create a collection of fine art images that you will treasure and display proudly in your home. He hopes that these images, in the years to come, will bring you back to wonderful moments otherwise long forgotten.
  SESSIONS

Unlike most professional photo studios, Howe’s sessions are conducted on location, in the comfort of your home or nearby venue of your choosing (though he does have an in-house studio if that is your preference). Photo shoots can be arranged around naps and feedings, or whatever other obligations you may have. Sessions never feel rushed or pressured.
Howe has a portable studio setup complete with lights and backdrops, but is happy to use whatever natural light and surroundings are available if you prefer. Howe favors a more candid style of portraiture where he blends into the background in order to capture the subject being its own natural, spontaneous, un-posed self.

While Howe retains copyright over all photos taken (and reserves the right to use any of the images for advertising, exhibition and competition purposes), clients are permitted to copy, print out or use in any manner the photos from their session. This practice is prohibited by most photographers, who require that you buy all hard copies from them.

PACKAGES

Three Custom Photo Packages are available:
      • Custom Portrait Session:    up to 3 hours of shooting time for $400.00
      • Half-Day Wedding Package:   up to 5 hours for $700.00
      • Full-Day Wedding Package:   up to 9 hours for $1200.00

For each package, the client receives the following:
      • a personalized coffee table-quality book with photographer-selected images
      • a DVD (playable on your TV) featuring a slideshow of selected photos set to music
      • a CD with all photos taken during the shoot (as high-resolution JPEG files)

Fees (shown in Canadian dollars) are payable at the time of the photo session. Fees shown above apply to portrait sessions conducted within the greater Toronto area. Additional charges apply for travel beyond these boundaries. Clients occasionally request additional work on individual photos (such as resizing or b&w conversion), on the DVD slideshow, or on the personalized photo book.
